Hi Arwen - The hot stone bowl version sounds like heaps of fun! Unfortunately I've never actually tried it out at a restaurant, but would like to.

Hi Beta Gal - There certainly is a lovely balance of food in this dish and other Korean dishes.

Hi Lorraine - :) Hope you enjoy the recipe!

Hi Maria - They are very fun cooking classes, will have to get on with the next ones.

Hi FFichiban - Mmmm, spicy sauce and crispy rice... sounds good!

Hi Y - Hope you get a chance to try it at home :P

that gooey egg is the best. I love runny yolks, this does look like it would take ages to make, but I'm glad it was well worth the effort. Another great cooking class I say!

Yum! I love how Korean food seems so balanced with a bit of everything presented neatly in a big bowl.

I love bibimbap, but I've never tried making it at home. I particularly like the version in a hot stone bowl. It comes with a raw egg which cooks as you stir it against the hot bowl. It makes the meal more hands on, which is really fun.
